TripoSIM by BroadNet Technologies, Dubai
In short
The TripoSIM US Number is a US virtual phone number from TripoSIM (BroadNet Technologies, Dubai) that works in the TripoSIM app on iPhone and Android, from almost any country. It costs $100 a year (about $8.33 a month) or $12.99 month to month, and includes 300 minutes a month of calls to the US and Canada, incoming calls with no roaming charges (fair use 300 minutes a month), voicemail, and texts from US and Canadian senders, including verification codes from WhatsApp and the popular apps TripoSIM has tested. It cannot send texts or call 911.
A virtual phone number is a real phone number that is not tied to a SIM card. Calls and texts reach you over the internet, inside an app. People in the US dial it like any US number, so it is not an international call for them, and you answer from anywhere you have Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Yes. Calls to your US number are included in your plan and reach you over the internet, so there are no roaming charges, wherever you are. Fair use is 300 minutes a month; after that, callers go to your voicemail until your minutes reset. Your internet provider may count the data (about 0.5 to 1 MB a minute).

No. The US number works on any internet connection: any Wi-Fi, any eSIM or any SIM card, from any provider. If you travel, a TripoSIM travel eSIM is a handy way to stay online, and your $5 welcome credit works on it.
Yes. It works in the TripoSIM app on both: on iPhone, add TripoSIM to your Home Screen; on Android, install the app. Allow notifications and the microphone, and your phone rings even when the app is closed. If your phone is off or offline, callers reach your voicemail.
It depends on your internet connection. Good Wi-Fi or 4G/5G usually gives clear calls; a weak signal can cause delays or dropped calls. A call uses about 0.5 to 1 MB of data a minute.
If you can't answer, callers can leave a message up to 2 minutes long. Choose a greeting in 18 languages. You get an alert in the app and by email. You can keep up to 30 messages a month, and each one is kept for 30 days.
Calls out stop until your monthly reset day, or you can add 100 minutes for $5 anytime in the app. Top-ups are used after your monthly minutes and stay valid as long as your number is active. If incoming calls pass 300 minutes in a month, callers go to voicemail until the reset.
When you buy the US Number on the yearly plan, we add $5 of credit to your TripoSIM account. Use it on any travel eSIM, an eSIM top-up or extra US minutes.
Yes. Your number stays the same while your plan is active, and the plan renews automatically. If your plan ends or a renewal is not paid, the number is paused and kept for 30 days (90 days on the monthly plan). After that it is released, may go to someone else, and cannot be recovered.
Turn off renewal in the app anytime. Your number keeps working until the end of the year or month you paid for. Payments are not refunded. The exceptions: if we cannot deliver your number within 72 hours of payment you get a full refund, and any refund your local law requires.
You can buy it from almost anywhere, except countries under sanctions. A few countries (for example, the UAE) limit internet calling apps, so calls may not work well there. Please check before you buy.
No. This number cannot call 911 or any emergency service. Always use a local mobile line in an emergency.
Yes. When you give people your US number, they never see your own mobile number. Your calls, voicemails and texts show only in your TripoSIM account.
