Editorial policy

How we write, check, translate and correct the guides and comparisons on TripoSIM.

Who we are

TripoSIM sells travel eSIM data plans. It is a brand of BroadNet Technologies LLC, a Dubai-based telecom group with 22+ years in the industry and a GSMA member. Our guides are written and maintained by Joseph, TripoSIM Editorial.

Our commercial interest

We sell eSIMs, and our guides link to our own plans. We have a commercial interest in what we recommend. We aim to give accurate, practical answers even when they do not lead to a sale, for example explaining when hotel Wi-Fi or your home plan is enough, or where a travel eSIM will not help.

How guides are written and updated

  • Each guide answers a real traveller question: what works in a country, how to set up an eSIM, how much data you need.
  • We use AI tools to help draft and edit content. A person reviews the key facts (prices, plan details, networks, entry rules and safety advice) before a guide is published or updated.
  • For travel rules, safety and official requirements we link to official sources, and we recommend checking them before you travel.
  • We review guides when facts change and show the “Updated” date at the top of each article.

Prices and plan facts

Prices, data amounts, validity and networks shown on destination pages come from TripoSIM’s live catalog and are refreshed automatically, so they match what you pay at checkout. Figures quoted inside an article reflect the date it was last updated. If a guide and a plan page disagree, the plan page is correct.

How we compare providers

TripoSIM is one of the providers in our comparisons. Facts about other providers come from their public websites and are shown with a “last checked” date. Their prices and plans can change after that date, so please confirm on the provider’s own site before you buy.

Translations

Our guides are written in English and machine-translated into 17 other languages. Key facts are reviewed by a person, but a translation may read less naturally than the English original. If something in a translation is unclear or wrong, the English version is the reference, and we welcome corrections.

Research data

Our research datasets on eSIM prices, networks and fair-use limits are built from the live catalog. Each dataset page explains its methodology and limitations.
