Before buying a travel eSIM, the first question is always: "Does my phone support eSIM?" This guide covers every major eSIM-compatible device as of 2026.

How to Check if Your Phone Supports eSIM

The quickest way:

iPhone: Go to Settings > General > About. If you see "Available SIM" or "Digital SIM", your phone supports eSIM.

Android: Go to Settings > Connections/Network > SIM Manager. If you see "Add eSIM" option, you are good.

Universal method: Dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID (eSIM Identifier) number appears alongside your IMEI, your phone has eSIM capability.
