Emergency numbers
Tap a number to call it.
Before you go
- WhatsApp and FaceTime calls are often restricted on local Omani networks and Wi-Fi. On TripoSIM they work for the same reason as in the UAE: the eSIM connects as international roaming. If a call ever does not connect, contact our support.
Mobile data in Oman
- Good 4G and 5G in Muscat and the main towns.
- Signal can be weak or missing in the desert and some mountain areas.
- Your eSIM connects as roaming on local networks, so turn on Data Roaming for it when you land. There are no extra roaming charges.
Useful apps
- Google Maps: driving directions and places
- Talabat: food delivery
- Google Translate: point your camera at Arabic signs and menus
Good to know
- 9999 is the number for police, ambulance and fire.
- Download offline maps on Wi-Fi before desert or mountain drives.
Oman eSIM plans

Install your eSIM at home on Wi-Fi. Your plan only starts when it first connects to a network in Oman.
Get a Oman eSIMChecked on 2026-10-22. Numbers and rules can change, so please check locally when you arrive. In a life-threatening emergency, call the local emergency number right away.
